mmm MV6 .... chocolate wheels ???  Perhaps a wheel out of true ?? Would need a "proper" check unless really obvious. :(

Chocolate wheels? I take it the standard wheels aren't much cop then? I will get it in a garage to check for buckles etc, thanks

My money is on propshaft out of balance, rubber doughnut coupling worn or central support bearing knackered.

Might be worth checking engine and transmission mounts while you're at it, though.

Kevin

Thanks for that, I will get it checked out asap.

I have just bought the car and it's done it since I got it. I first thought it was just the balancing so wasn't too bothered otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought it but it was cheap enough so can't moan too much. Other than this fault it seems almost perfect, I have however also noticed it seems to drift slightly at higher speeds and on certain bends.

Hi,
My 2000 MV6 Auto has a constant wobble / vibration at almost any speeds. I first thought it could be the balancing but I didnt think it would do it all the time. The steering wheel is shaking and I can also feel the shaking if I rest my hand on the gear stick.
Am I right in thinking centre propshaft bearing, wishbones etc? Thanks in advance

can you hear the motor at all ? if you have door open check interior light it should dim slightly when you press the switch to open or close, this will prove motor is trying to work  :y

Hi, all I could hear when pressing the button was a little clicking noise but after a few presses I could hear the motor going inside the door, I tried closing the window by pusing it up with my hand and it closed but that also means someone can just pull my window down to open it lol

Sounds like a dodgy switch to me ? :-/

If it was the switch at fault I wouldn't hear the motor would I?

maybe using the key might be worth a try? the soft touch feature, rather than locking the doors with the fob, try it with the key in the door, damn forgot which way is lock. whichever way it is, hold it in that position and see! try it with the driver window lil open to see if the feature works.. goodluck wait for your response!!  :y

That feature does work although it only closed my front window and not the rear one

Hi all,
My rear window is open about half inch and I cant open or close it. Tried the button on the centre console and on the rear door but neither are working. Is there a simple way of closing it without having to take all the door panel off etc? I dont mind if I cant open it I just want it fully shut.
Thanks in advance

Hi all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself.
Bought myself a 2000 W MV6 and thought I best join as I've already found a few niggles and I'm hoping you will all be able to offer help and advice.
Regards
Andy
