What's wrong with a full sized one, been towing one for the best part of forty years not turned one over yet :y
Before I had a van had a trailer tent, not fancy as that ::)  the big problem was keeping the joints water tight, the more they are used, the more difficult it is 8-)

I would have thought that was the main danger with these type of caravans, leaking. Nice idea though

Thats one of the reasons i got out

but if you smile at somebody they will usually smile back then will smile at somebody else
and then look what you can start with just a smile :) :)

Somebody has to start the smiling! There is of course a lot to worry about at the moment, which is why it is important to remember the aspects of life that make you smile, one of which, for me, it smiling a other people, and getting a smile back;)

Actually I think it was a good thing in the days of black plastic bumpers.  You left your car in neutral and out of gear and it was 'moved' for you  :y

Yep precisely - the only thing is.. they all still drive as if we had black plastic/metal bumpers  ;D

This sounds like the dodgems suggestion!!

whats the odd £13 billion here or there am sure the CON/DEMs can claw that back in no time with  the odd 5000 job losses here the odd RAF base closer there 50p on fags 10p on a pint  hell why not 25p on a gallon of fuel . am sure we can give them more than just a petty 13 bill  >:( >:(

I don't know about that. They will have to cough up for more coppers now too so your figures might just be a bit under!

To be clear, Jeremy performs all of the challenges you see him perform on Top Gear

Oh no he doesn't, a recent show had a reliant robin end up in the canal, upside down, with no hope of anyone getting out. Somehow he did ....

Ken

The thing is, it is not a documentary or the news, it is an entertainment programme. You wouldn't launch into a tyraid agains Casulty because the blood they use isn't real, or that the whole programme has been faked. It isa just something to complain about. I still like the show, though it hasn't been at its best of late. It doesn't bother me that some of the situations have been concocted!

What, top gear fakes shows!?

/disengage sarcasm

Hahaha!

But it is like when they won a best unscripted award in the states and then preceeded to read from their scripts! Or the number of time a caravan catches in fire!! Its a TV programme, not the gospel.  ;D

Ok mate, i knew that, already got a lapsed CBT on a GS 125 but what about the theory/haz perception test? That has to be fitted into said week?

I would assume you still have to do it in advance

Only has to be done before the test, can be taken during that week, but often done before. You have to pass both at the same time, there is a "nack" to the video bit  ;)

If it is anything like the car perception test then you fail as an 'Advanced Driver' as it can not cope with the level of early identification of hazards.......... ::) ::) ::)

Exactly what I had, I was clicking too early outside the points section. I found "batch" clicking of around 5 or so when you see the danger ensured max points.

I am really glad that I did the hazard perception when it was in its infantcy. I certainly would not like to do it now! Only one click... madness!

As the nations of the EU face critical issues of sovereign debt, the facless ones in Brussels are now busy concerning themselves with wicked.....

...vacuum cleaners:o :o

Yes, folks, the naughty people (IS THAT OK?  ::)) in Brussels want cleaners' power inputs to be cut by the year 2014 to 500 Watts (0.5kW) for upright cleaners and 750 Watts for canister cleaners and upright cleaners with integral hose and tools.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/7996383/Europe-to-cut-power-of-vacuum-cleaners-to-save-energy.html

Is there anyone who still believes that the EU is anything but a petty-minded, undemocratic bureaucacy?  ::) ::) ::)

Well it is reassuring that they are finally looking into the reall issues that effect the public on a day to day basis! Good job Brussels!!

Was walking past some police officers who was speaking with a member of the public and I think National service was being discussed as his answer was " I was in the armed forces and we would not want them"

I was in the reserve (CDO Forces) and was doing my stint on the speel to potential recruits when I was asked "When will we get our gun?"  Needless to say it set alarm bells ringing.  Needless to say he did not return after realising it would not suit him.

I think that sums it up

I think that national service is not necessarily a bad idea, but it doesn't have to be the army. Community work, working with the elderly or with the environment! Something that gives these people a stake in society
