Hi I am changing a Cambelt shortly on an omega 2.0 just wondering does the water pump run off the Cambelt too I now it does on vectra 2.0 is this the same, also what are the intervals to change these on a 2.0 is 6000 or 4 years what ever comes first thanks for your help

Hi can anyone help my father has a omega 2.0 getting lots of problems with cam sensor its ok for a while then engine light comes on when I check it with "My Code Reader" calls up the camsensor I changed it last week for a genuine one it run great fir a bout 200 miles and engine has come on is there anything else that would cause this any help would be great

ok al the kit comes with the two rollers which are simectric basically the top and bottom rollers adjust and aline the camshaft banks 1234 when you turn the engine round twice after setting the tensioner you use the rollers to pull the cams round to line up with the gauge thanks for the info every one can always get help from this site pitty we didnt solve it will have to look into it abit more cheers guys

dont think it is the hydrilic lifters as when i lube the belt soon as i start the engine the noise stops and how would the idler  run differant speed all you can do is set cambelt to spec and run it thought the tensioner was to tight and tryed resetting it but that didnt work

its not the aux belt as i have run it with that taken off to see if it was the aux tentioner and i have the cover on cambelt off at the moment soon as you spray a bit wd40 on the top of the belt the noise stops

sorry tunnie havent been on for a while yes i replaced the whole kit genuine parts too but still makes a clicking noise from cold for a couple of minutes just wondering if anyone else might have had any problems like this i also have an omega elite

hello can anyone help i have a vectra b 2.6 when started from cold get a clicking soundcomming from the top cam roller that only lasts about 2 minutes then stops and runs great i thought it was the cambelt top roller as when you stray a little drop of wd40 on the belt the noise stops just fitted another cambelt kit on warrenty but is still making the noise starting to drive me made now can anyone help please

another thing also the vectra b finished in 2002 and vectra c was built so i dont think i can go any further than that as it wont show my engine size

jimbob a fault comes on mid saying FL/LEVELER when i go into fault codes it says the ecu needs calibrating not present
