Thanks for all the replies guys. Essex big Al, i'm based near York.

I can honestly say this seems to be the best and friendliest forum i've been on so thanks guys.

Im looking at purchasing a 2.2 16v CD (03). Are these ok or have problems?

Reading the posts I see it is going to be high running costs, that dosn't bother me for services etc...I am a sticker for maintaining properly.

My only concern is just if it is going to break down a lot! But I suppose like most buys im gunna have to have my fingers crossed!  :P

Many thanks again

Thanks for the replies so far guys, keep em coming!  :)

To be fair im used to the expensive running costs with the current motor and I suppose any purchase needs a certain amount of luck with regard to reliability.

Whats the average cost of a service/repair please guys?

To be fair, I cant wait to get sat back and eating up the miles  ;) ;)

Hi guys,

Im a newbie on here and have admired the omega for a long time.

Anyhows, i'm looking at buying one as im fed up of the sports cars and want a bit of luxury. I am after an 03 plate model. To help me decide can anybody help me by giving me a general idea of what the car is like in respect to reliability, running costs, drive etc......

Any replies are greatly appreciated,

Cheers
