Hi looks like my satnav playing up again last time found plug in rear of head unit damaged THE BOY repaired but advised me it probably would not last so i need the aerial lead from footwell to sat nav head unit if any body has one or a different type of aerial that i can use your help would be most apreciated thanks

Hi what ive done in past is to tack weld a bit into torx screw to remove it wastes the bit and the screw but does work if screws are that bad you will have to replace them any way good luck with job .

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / gps fault

2.6 omega elite with cid intermittant fault with gps ,red gps indicator does not turn green and gps not picking up seems to happen when its been raining heavy starts working again later in day any ideas what could cause this fault as sat nav is becoming unreliable because of this fault.

easy enough have had mine off several times ,do not switch ignition on with wheel off or else air bag light will need resetting also when you put it all back on make sure air bag connection is fully in else air bag light will come on found that out the hard way

occasionally when trying to turn steering wheel feels like it wont turn as if wheels are stuck against something ,only for a matter of seconds and then its fine any ideas what could be the cause and is it an easy fix.

Have to get close to car and only works from drivers side ,have fitted new batteries checked battery connection all ok any ideas or does this sound about right distance etc.

looks like my car has had another ecu fitted got codes for car but says wrong security number so looks like different ecu how can i find code for that ecu so that i can get spare key programmed or can code be read off of my key

Be carefull on smart repairs had some vandel scratches done other year after a while paint all lifted like a skin had to take to a bodyshop for repair they informed me wrong type of paint used causing a reaction also said they have to redo a lot of these smart repairs as they dont really know what they are doingended up costing me twice and a lot of inconvenience so be carefull firm i used was a well known firm and only as good as bloke doing job warrenty waste of time they informed me must of been caused by me  what a suprise.

wanted 2.6 elite dash panel for y reg mine has broken end of pcb unless pcb can be replaced .
