Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Bose equipped car worth going for?

Hello, I've just joined and I'm looking to buy an Omega estate, and I need a bit of advice please chaps. Is it worth being picky and going for an Elite to get the Bose system? Is it a notch above the usual run of the mill audio that most cars have? My only exposure to Bose is a quick listen to a system installed as standard in an Audi A2- it DID sound pretty awesome......
