Electronic throttle control malfunction. :-?
Cylinder 3 misfire. :o
02 sensor circuit. :-/
Random misfire.  :-?

Rocker cover gasket leaking, coil packs contaminated with oil. :'(

The man from Vauxhall say......Starting point replace Rocker cover gaskets, coil packs and plugs! :'( :'(

Also needs front brake pads and I think discs also, air con is blowing stale air out so also needs sorting.

What sort of damage pounds wise?  any guidance?

What sort of cost to convert and is there any loss of performance?

Have a bad back to thank for avoiding a 190mile round trip commute. 5 days a week that would have been approx 45,600 miles or £9,120.00 for the year contract. :-/

Front tyres new March so about 5000 miles old balance and tracking done then.
Have hit no kerbs, but with the state of the roads nowadays probably plenty of potholes etc but nothing major.

What would cause the discs to warp?

Omega General Help / Wooble from general chat
« on: 17 July 2007, 12:15:35 »
My MV6 has developed a wooble coming up through the steering wheel, but only when I brake at a certain hardness and road speed

Anyone have any ideas?

First thoughts are wheel balance, Tracking and Camber alignment but surely this would produce the wooble at all times or at particular road speed not just when braking?

Have Dunlop SP9000 235 45 ZR17 on front and back of my MV6 and have done for the past 78,000 miles, never had any understeer, back end always goes first or at the same time. If I'm driving hard turn TC off as it interfears with driver control, you can't balance the car in a drift with the computer sticking the brakes on and off and cutting the power. :y
