Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: CDR500

It's the second unit I've had in the car. I just think it's a bit picky to be honest. Works fine sometimes, other times not. Luckily I like the radio... ;)

Yup doesn't like copied discs, as I found out. Though to be honest, mine doesn't like many discs at all, and at the moment is convinced there is no cartridge inside it ;D

That's been on BarryBoys too... and as you can imagine it didn't go down at all well ;D

Jap styling on a European car also = fail. So does using a steering wheel from an arcade machine :-/

Omega General Help / HT leads
« on: 11 September 2007, 18:28:03 »
Hi all,

Looking to replace the HT leads on the Omega V6. Been down to the local dealership, and at £110.45 per bank, was almost sick!

Anyone know of anywhere I can order a set for a more normal price?

Also, would Vectra 2.5 V6 leads work with the Omega 3.0 V6? From what I've read, 2.5 and 3.0 engines use the same leads (So I'm lead to beleive so far).

Many thanks for help! Joe :)

Newbie Welcome Area / A Quick Hello!
« on: 28 June 2007, 11:04:31 »
Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself! :)

My names Joe from the WestMids/Staffs area.

Pretty new to Omega ownership, had it about 4 months now and thought it best to get on and meet some other owners as I really like the car and it looks like it's staying.

Currently tanking around in an old 3.0 Elite Auto - a hell of a lot of car for the tiny price tag!

Nice to meet you all! 8-)

I have to say lower. I often look at my oldun' and think '4x4' too! ;)

Slammed would look a bit daft but that's tasteful and still driveable!

I love those wheels. Always set an Omega off. 8-)

Your paint looks absolutely fantastic for it's age and usually the amount of roadsalt and grit an Omega see's! :)

Think I may have to give mine a bit of attention this summer!

The previous owner managed to break the front trim panel off somehow ( I still have part of the missing piece ) but I'm not too fussed about it.

1.6 badge is for generally annoying reps and boyracers. You'd be amazed how many beleive it... ;)

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my car up. Nothing special, just a standard 3.0 Elite (or the 'OMG' as it's known), but I love it to bits.

1.6 badge might be a lie. ;)

3.0 Elite Automatic (1995 N) - Cream Leather & Dodgey wood trim - A bit rough around the egdes, but it adds a bit of character! 8-)
