Omega General Help / Lack of illumination on heater controls
« on: 19 March 2015, 01:01:40 »
Hi all.
Just bought a 3.0 Elite pre-facelift 1996 and the control for ON/OFF fan, fan speed, digital display in centre control doesn't light up. Can it be removed to replace the bulb or is it knackered?
Regards
Robin

« on: 19 March 2015, 00:50:17 »
Hi all.
I had to sell my black MV6 due to tin worm and other broken bits, so lost my way for a bit, Volvo T5 b(very fast but front wheel drive...yuk) then a X Type Jag (lovely but failed MOT miserably) so now am proud owner of a 1996 Elite 3.0 Titanium Silver with only 72500K on the clock! Lovely to be back! How I missed that exhaust tone and engine!

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Nearside indicators won't go off!!
« on: 09 February 2012, 13:11:04 »
Hi all! Have to use my key to lock and unlock my facelift MV6 as remote buttons died which is fine up till yesterday! Unlocked car and instead of hazards flashing when I opened door the nearside indicators froze on!! Tried locking and unlocking, pushing hazard switch...even disconnected battery then reconnected and still they wont go off! Offside ones flash ok using stalk. Friend said it could be a dodgy microprocessor or relay? Any ideas or do I have visit the dreaded main dealer with my open chequebook!!??

Regards
