Fear not, Microsoft have extended security fixes through 2015 for anyone still using XP: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25758308

Quote
security updates will be produced until 14 July, 2015
Thats not true. Microshaft have agreed to continue to supply updates to Security Essentials malware/av until July 2015. All security patches end this April as before.

And thats why we ask location, not for any other reason, but you never know if a member is near by who is willing to help  :y
U hear so much about giving too much information and how these sorts of interactive webpages are full of unsavoury crooks that I get nervous revealing too much.

Whereabouts are you?  ???
Why wud my location affect the cars pwer when it warms up  :-[
It doesn`t. If you add your location to your profile there may be members nearby who can assist :)
Getcha  :-[. I'm a bit nervous giving too much private details to people on the net  :-[

I'm in the Daventry/Rugby area

Aha

I work in Rugby so could possibly plug in and look at the codes and live data for you.

Mark
Really, thanks!

What would be costs? As the test with the wire shorting out the plug in the fusebox doesnt show anything will there be any faults?

Do you work saturday or sundays. if not I will see if I can get some time off but I have to give 2 weeks notice

Thank you

Mike

General Car Chat / Re: Drop Bike oil?
« on: 15 January 2014, 17:52:21 »
I thought the real oil specifications were in the non viscousity parameters like the API values? 20W50 is just how visocus it is at different temperatures and shows nothing on the oils suitablility or quality

Sorry if thats different on motorcycles but thats how it is on car motors
