hi ive just changed the plugs on my 2ltr select and they are 10 mm long socket to fit.. the 3/8 drive and a bugger to get to.. ive used ngk twin spark 305's  not sure if thats a help .. your manual should give exact size but type depends on engine  cheers  mitchell

Omega General Help / 2ltr auto box and rain troubles

Question:  does anyone know if i can check the auto gear box fluid without getting under and dirty, and how often should it be changed.  ive just done a service and all seems fine but the gears get a bit slow to change .. 
part two:  when it rains, and only then, my omega coughs and splutters wont change gear properly and cuts on to 3 cylinders.... ive drowned the car  in waxoil and wd40 to little effect, could it be the lamda sensor or what, ive tried everything i know  cheers..any help would be most welcome...  thanks mitch farmer

greetings and hello, my name is Howard and i own a 17 yr old 2ltr select auto .. it has done 217000 miles and is still in good shape, altho a bit touched up here n there.. everthing still works and its a smooth as it was when made, all the toys work including the rear blind and electric sunroof.. ive stuck a couple of questions on the general help page if you can indeed help me  ta..
