My old steering wheel started to disintegrate, so I had to get hold of a new one. I was lucky enough to find an original leather wheel on the german ebay, which actually had been changed with a smaller one back in 1993, so it was completely unused! The leather is in pristine condition, have a look yourself:

That looks to be a great example - most of the Carltons in the UK have rotted away with rust :(

It's not a bad example, but it does need a new paintjob. There are quite a few dents and a ton of scratches all over the car, but there's very little rust. Only a few spots at the bottom of two doors (almost invisible) and that's mostly it. I really do want to repaint the whole car before it's too late.

look after it mate they don't make em like that any more

Thank you! I am taking good care of it, and I would love to keep it forever, but it has it's problems, like all cars. Hopefully they wan't be to costly to repare when needed :)

These days they only make ugly and idiotic cars that even the workshop is unable to fix if something is wrong...

So, after beeing a member on TC for over a year, I decided to join this forum too  :)

My car is a 1993 Opel Omega A 3.0 24v manual. Mostly stock, but I've done a few changes.











and yeah, It's still winther here ;)
