Stationary, engine running, loud bang from rear like something letting go. Visual inspection ok. Cat problem?

Omega General Help / Omega Seems To Cut Out As It warms Up.

Problem with 02, 2.6, V6, 85,000 Miles. Starts fine runs sweet for between 2 - 3 miles then cuts out. Will turn over but not fire.

Park up and return same thing happens.

Our friends at the vauxhall garage cant find a fault code, they start it and test it before it fails. Any ideas?
