Changed the clutch on the V70-not exactly done in the day it took just over two weeks,but most of that was waiting for new parts to arrive to replace bits that sheared/had to be ground off.

The latest "thing"[being led by Volvo apparently ] is to do away with the rear window and rely on using a rear facing camera mounted on the roof for any rearward vision.

The blame game is well underway. National Grid say there are two other substations that could have been brought on line so there was no need for the airport to shut down.Someone questioned whether Heathrow would know this,but surely there should be contingency plans in place other than just shutting the airport? After all to rely on just one power source is madness. It's also being said that the boss of Heathrow decided to go to bed and left it to his deputy to deal with the situation.

Looked at aerial (not that I'm an expert on such things) couldn't see anything wrong there, coax as far as I could tell looked sound but wouldn't know how to test it and as it stretches across my front room through the window frame up to gutter level then across the front of my bungalow and my neighbours and on up his gable end to above roof height there's an awful lot of it! Finally found the problem was with the end that plugs into the TV. Somehow not only had it come slightly loose in the TV socket (suppose I must have caught it somehow) but it was insecure on the cable(don't know how that happened either) now all tightened up and secured and all good again.
