I have to answer myself. Due to that there is two pumps in my car I did check the electrical power to the two of them. And one had the other one didn't. Well that is normal because one of them should only work when the car is turned off. So the second one should have power all the time so I was checking up the pump and it didn't work. So I did change the pump and now I have heat in the car. And good heat as well.

My Omega has ECC and it is controlled by electrical servos, and that I have been checking so it works. In Omega there is an secondary pump mounted on the radiator, and in some cars there is two pumps. As in my car. That extra pump was mounted in the car by Opel (I suppose it 's only where the winter climate is like here in Sweden) to gain extra heat in to the car.
Somehow this one what I have is wrongly mounted so it doesn't work. I have been asking Opel how it should work but they coudn't answer because the car is too old.
That's why I am asking here if someone has an idea how it works and how it is connected electically. What control this pump?

Ok, the pump that is under the expansion bottle is not running either unless I am turning on the parking heater. And as I have heared from Opel here in Sweden this pump was put in extra to get more heat in the car in wintertime.
(It is two pumps in the car).

Omega General Help / No heat in my car
« on: 06 November 2012, 21:23:13 »
Please help. I have no heat in the car. The engine are hot (92degrees C). I have a Omega 1996 MV6 X25XE engine and there is two electrical ciculationpumps in it. One is for the parking heater.
When I am using the parking heater then it is heat in the car but without it no.

I checked the pump what is placed on the radiator and it semes there is no power to it and I wonder how is it connected?
I found a relay that someone told me was for that pump so I changed it but there is no difference.
So I don't know how to do to get heat in the car.

I am Anders from Uppsala Sweden.I found this forum and find it very helpfull.
I have been driving Opel for as long time as I can remember but with some sidesteps to Ford and Volvo. But Opel is #1.
Right now I am driving a Opel Omega MV6 V6 from 1996. and because it is an old car it has some problem that I am trying to solve.
I have been driving Omega A and Senator erlier so this is all new for me. The computerised everything in the car is difficult to understand but I will not give up.
I have some problems still and in time I will try to fix it.

Omega General Help / Re: HBV valve MV6 V6

Ok thank you for all your help.
I solved the pump problem and it was the hose from the expantion tank that was plugged. And the pump didnt have any power so I connected it thru a switch on the dash.
The temperature i the car became much better.

According the HBV I found that this two models of HBV is used in Omega B V6 so it was the right HBV valve in the car.

Once again thank you for all your help in this matter.
