Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Speedo Problems

Can any one shed some light please, I have a 2.5 Omega estate on the R plate, but the speedo is not working, it did last week for about 20 mile then gave up te ghost again.  I have had a new sender unit fitted to the gear box at a cost of £140 but this made no difference. :-/

Can any one help I am now tearing my hair out, i have a fault with my omega 2.5 estate (R Reg) where, sometimes from cold and damp, my speedo will work, however after 10 miles or so, it stops working, the rev counter works fine, unlike some of the other problems I have seen my ABS and Traction control lights DO NOT lite up its just the speedo, I have taken it to a local auto tech and he chnaged the gearbox senosr at a cost of £130, but I still have the problem and to make matters worse I have now been done for speeding (my judgement of the revs was not as accurate as I thought)

Omega General Help / Dash Board Switches

I bought a 2.5 Omega CDX but it has no Usr manual, Can any one tell me what the following 3 switches are for pleae  

1.  A button by the Auto Gear box shift showing a freeze sign
2.  The ECS button?
3.  A button which looks like a man running away from radar?

Also when I bought the car I was told it had air con but I can only find climate control

Does any one know if the fuse for the speedo on a 2.5 CDX is in the Auxilary box in the engine well and if so what number is it

Hi

I have an Omega CDX 2.5 on the R plate.  Got one question though my Speedo does not work it stopped about a month ago all other dials/lights work? I have checked all the fused under the steering wheel but cant find a blown fuse, any one come across this problem.

   Hi all hust moved up from a Frontera to a silver Omega CDX 2.5 on the  plate, what a difference (posh).  Got one question though my Speedo does not work it stopped about a month ago all other dials/lights work? I have checked all the fused under the steering wheel but cant find a blown fuse, any one come across this problem.
