Hiya, do one little test for me, when the engine is running lift off the oil filler cap and tell me if it changes the level of noise.

Thanks everyone, got loads to work on, one thing is if the ecu is a motronic bosch  do I use bosch crank sensor, I have tried replacing the one in the car but this was a gm type. Is it bosch or gm I,m tempted to use a bosch.

I,m new to omegas and have become alarmed as to what I read about the bulbs fitted. If this energy is stored for what ever reason then surely to discharged the energy with a 1 watt resister in two wooden poles should exhaust this energy or am I talkin 'dangle berries'.

Yes I know another code problem,but I have looked on the forum and allthough I found the paper clip trick and read the faults spat out by the ecu I cannot make any sense as to what is normal on cranking but not starting the engine.
The codes are: 73---74---129---57---21---19---145.
The specs of the vehicle are 1999 2.5 v6, bought as none runner ( blown head gskt ). Replaced fuel pump replaced crank sensor, the fuel can be pumped to the fuel rail by shorting the relays but no ignition, not a cough. Any ideas.

I have a vast knowledge on cars,most of it useless and out of date.
