Hi Rob

Thanks for your reply.

CCR2006 is correct. Sounds like a call to VX is the best option then. A site www.radio-code.co.uk is says it could do it, but I don't trust it.

Only asking as friends with Fords have managed to get codes for around £5.

Cheers Matt

Omega General Help / Radio code

Hi all

Just a quick question. I've been very careful with battery disconnections over the past few years to avoid having to enter the radio code.
Then overnight there must have been a short somewhere as the radio is now in safe mode and I don't have the code.

Before I pay £25 odd quid to VX or a online company - does anyone know of a cheaper option? I've got the radio out and am ready to go!

All the best

Matt

Omega General Help / Re: Coolant leak Omega 2.6 v6 auto

Thank you for the replies.

No leaks inside the car. 'Quick release coupling' sounds like a good description of what I am looking at.
Two identical hoses disappear into the rear of the engine bay (under the wiper area) one directly above the other.
Lower hose faces a yellow clip - small green clip loose around the lower outside edge on both hoses - coolant 'drip leaking from lower hose.

I've taken a pic but can't attach it to this posting.

Omega General Help / Coolant leak Omega 2.6 v6 auto
« on: 01 April 2013, 13:29:57 »
Hi all

I wondered if anyone has experienced a similar coolant leak to the one I have on my 2.6 v6 omega. It's not the usual 'heater exchange valve' - that been done.

There are two pipes coming into the central area of the engine bay from the dash. The bottom pipe is dripping coolant. Any ideas?

I'd like to know if this should be something I could replace myself or what the cost  is likely to be at a garage.

Cheers

Matt

Hi I'm new to the site. I have a 2004 V6 Cdx.

Do you think this is one of the latest ever made?
