General Car Chat / MID replacement with a new one.

I found a new MID and would like to replace mine because now many pixels don't work.   I have the MID with the yellow connector.  If I replace it with the new one, will I find it set for my language and my type of engine?

 :-[After changing the battery of the key fob, of my Omega b 2.5 td from 1996, the two LEDs light up again, but it has no effect on closing the doors, it does not recognize it. I believe there is a procedure to reactivate the system. Who can tell me how to proceed?

I did a search on the home page FABI is not compatible with Omega B 2.5TD for that article. I'm still looking! thank you

It seems impossible to find. There are many days that are looking on the web but I have not found anything. The dealer told me that it is not longer available. The motor mount is for a PFL Omega 1996 2.5TD engine. Can someone help me?

Buy a newer model mid. The one with four lightbulbs and a single grey connector. Much more reliable. You will need the connector for it as well. And you'll have to rewire the connections in the car. And finally a tech 2 session but you will end up with a mid that actually works:)

I try to look for the type used with MID CONNECTOR gray, even if it seems difficult to make the setting with the tech2 for me !!

Are holding an Opel Omega Estate 2.5 TD 1996. Unfortunately my MID is losing more and more pixels and has become difficult to read the information, and I want to try to improve the situation. In this case you can recommend what to do.

The remote control is of the RF is the red LED that the green LED does not light up in a good manner, resynchronization is the operation that gets when you replace the battery with a new one? I am in possession of the instruction manual.
