There is a Capri ! i work at the Dagenham engine plant where these are. They're in an old building called the heritage centre. The Capri is a 280 brooklands in as new condition.
And you drive a Vauxhall? I bet you're popular  ;D
Actually I drive a Mercedes E class now! I still pop in on here from time to time just to catch up. :)

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Parrots

Hmmmm...parrot does indeed have iso connectors and my car has no traffic master.Might just be easier to return the parrot and exchange for a nokia kit (especially as I have a Nokia e72).

While you're all on the case,I was given a parrot for Christmas. Will it still plug & play as you describe with the Bose setup in my elite. Or asI expect is it more trouble than it's worth.

6
Will the Parrot MKi9200 still work with a Bose setup ? If so , is it any different to install?

7
If they were working properly , you would definately know they were on. Mine get toasty warm.

yes, normally pops back in, sometimes not, where imaginative fixes can work.....or get one off a breaker and replace.  (as I had to recently)
Thanks for that mate.Your advice has made me realise whats happened. I read on here a couple of days ago about popping off the self levelling lever on the rear suspension & raising the lever to lift the car for better access underneath. I did it yesterday to jetwash under the arches. Thats probably whats done it! Thanks for the advice.

most likely the arm has popped off the sensor, attached to N/S front and rear suspension.

its now pointing your headlamps lower to avoid dazzling others.
Is it just a matter of popping it back on if thats the case?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Bulb or something else?

Have a warning " low beam/fld vision" popped up. All lights are working ok though.Assuming the check system measures resistance in the lighting circuits , does this mean a bulb is on its way out or is it something more expensive(probably!)Any ideas? :-?

Poltergeist.- Definately.

Omega General Help / Re: Door lock buttons rattling
« on: 17 January 2011, 19:52:19 »
Mine did that too. I bought some self adhesive velcro strips and just used the soft fluffy part by cutting it to the same width as the pin by about 15mm long. With the pin up ,Peel off the back, push the pin towards the glass (it only moves just enough to get the strip in) and slide the strip down into the pin slot till its flush with the top of the door panel.Pull the pin back so that the self adhesive sticks to the panel insert  and hey presto , no more rattles. I did mine about a year ago and its still perfect. hth

Avoid those monkeys at all times.

A search of this site will give a few good tyres threads I'm sure, but in order of cost Afaik
Conti sports contact 3
Dunlop sport maxx
Bridgestone potenza, bit noisy but good grip and stability
Others talk highly of Kumho ku31 for the money.
Toyo proxy, bit noisy going by reviews not on omega

Avoids
Falken 912 and to lesser extent 452
Pirelli p zero apparently.     Both makes tram line and wonder badly.

Pirelli p6000 are ok ish, but should be
far better given the price IMO.

Hmmmmm...have to disagree about the Falken 912's. I've put 4 on mine 3000 miles ago and have had no issues whatsoever.I actually prefer them to the Dunlops they replaced because they're quieter. Just my experience.
