Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Main Beam Bulbs
« on: 11 November 2008, 09:24:29 »
i had  them in my 2001 mv6 and all i can say is that there is no better lights in the country and that is no exaggeration but do take 2-5 seconds to warm up fully but when up to full power every car you meet dipped before you came around the corner saying that my hid,s where 50w ;) not the usual 35w so where even brighter, when i put them on they totally blanked out the vx hid,s . but the bulbs do as said ^^don,t like the on off of main beam and as result mine dimmed and smoked up inside so i removed them (after 1 year so not to bad) and to tell you the truth they will be going back in because even will the bulbs smoked inside they still are at least 3 times brighter than the crap halogen in there now or then again i might just buy some h7 cheapo ebay bulbs and see how they go at the 50w power, don,t no if they will be the same or not .

Omega General Help / Re: Camber Tools
« on: 17 July 2010, 10:18:20 »
i seen the same thing on tv a few months ago and i think the magnet on disc thing would be very useful to get back to the correct setting that you had before suspension work ,i don,t think it would be any good to set the car up to the right setting totally because the suspension needs to be under load to get correct but it wouk be useful to get back to what it was after some work i think

James - I'll ask what they did with oil pressure sensor, oil level when it left was fine. It had been changed and was topped up to correct level with new filter. No idea of it's condition now.
Thanks TB, but I think I'll just have to suck up the £150 charge and get it brought back on a truck. It's going to be stupid to tow it on the motorway, let alone illegal, and I couldn't let anyone else take that risk.
You don't have to take it back so, make him pay for the recovery back to you.
thats what i would do also, the least he could do is return it to where he got it >:(saying your are giving him a full refund i would of thought thats not to much to ask of him.

just had some bad luck on an even badder road!  seems like i've bent the  anti roll bar so much so that its touching one of the lower pully's
arrrrghhh !!!  taxi home! an me tractor on back of recovery truck!  our beloved is not with us tonight!        any one with any info please!    :-[
i would think its the drop links that are bent or broken not the anti rool bar it,s self because these wil be the weakest but may be wrong or then again it could be the anti roll bar mount on the subframe itself that has broken hth
