the mot is due nxt wk and iv been worried about finding this part not anything else

the only thing that i can say is that a couple of wks ago a friend of mine pushed something underneath i think nr the gear box and when i started the car the speedo arm flickered but didnt move after that

sorry to keep boring every1 with this subject.....

thats wot he has said that it has a lot of pipes running from it and that sounds like thte part that he is sending me so it must be the whole unit i will find out more on monday morning when he rings me to confirm it all again

i have just found some1 breaking a mv6 on x same as mine and i have just phoned him to try and get the abs ecu from him but he doesnt know where it is in the engine  nor do i as i dont know anything about cars
who or where can u get a recon abs ecu from just incase this 1 goes belly up

a mate of mine went under the car last night and detached the two rear sensors and cleaned them but that didnt clear the problem of the abs/tc light on the dash he couldn't find the ones on the front but he thought that the wheel would have to be removed to get to them.
i was thinking that the abs ecu might need changing because of what some one on this sight said that it might be the fault and costly to repair which made me wonder whether i had done the right thing in getting the car in the first place
the n/s light one was very low and i mean that low that i couldn't see it and the other was about 8 ft in front of the car so he popped out the light and we detached the motor from the light and just tweeked it put it back and then turned on the lights and you could hear it working but the light wasn't moving so he did it manually and the other one too but then when i took it out in the dark to see where the lights were set at it seemed that the faster i went the n/s one seemed to go lower again but it might just have been me as i was very shattered

yes sorry,i havent got an inside adjuster switch aparently my headlights are self leveling ones and the motor has aparently gone because a light is on underneath the digital part of the dash i.e where the time and that are.
we have managed to adjust them manualy tonight but they aint high enough and that took soom doing im begining to regret getting this car and the mot is due in 10 days

abs/tc light on all the time and a mate has cleaned the rear sensors but the lights are still on and the speedo isn't working i have a price for the sensors but someone else has said that it may be the abs ecu thats gone if so where would i get another and would a brand new one from a dealer going to make me wana sell the cats lungs or the car hehehe also i'm after a black load cover if anyone has one for sale
its a 2000 model on an x
ex traffic car
