hi everyone,
replaced the hbv in my omega and still no heat!!!! all ok under the bonnet, plenty of the stuff, but nothing coming through into car :(
could it be an airlock in radiator matrix????? been told that could be it, please help, useless female.......cold!!!!!

went this morning, lovely chaps!! they tipped me off about the hbv, will buy one, and then get it fitted. least then wont be ripped off xxx :-*

Whip the small vacuum pipe off the top of the HBV, and plug the end of the pipe with a small bolt, leaving the "stub" on the HBV open to air....  see if you then get heat.

If you can't find the HBV pop to the meet and get one of the guys to do it !!!

  i'll give it a go, but more likely to rock up to the meet looking helpless!!!

hi, a newbie!! and no nothing of cars!!! ex husband given me an omega, but heating blowing cold, would someone take a look before i have to get ripped off at a garage??!

Do you know which engine you have ?   V6      or 4 cylinder ?

Is engine temp gauge  running at normal  mid position ?

Could be something as simple as a vacuum pipe off .  :-\

Someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly.

There is an Omega meet in Kent tomorrow I think  , West Malling  ME19   area if you are fairly near  . someone there would almost certainly have a look for you . :y
