here save me answering every one, 1... car was really cheap, 2 i no enough about engines to no its not a coil pack, not a scuttle issue, 3 i can pick up omegas for 300 - 700 euro, just wanted opinions on the best engine, 3.2 the best one, most economical, thats all you gotta say, thanks anyway.

as the topic suggessts, im looking at a engine transplant, ive a 02 omega, 3.2 v6, its letting in water in the rocker cover gaskey, think im down to 4 cylinders too, i was thinking of putting a smaller engine in, was wondering what fits, the car is a work horse so i want to have a bit of torque without the hugh fuel consumption!
 any recommendations or does anyone have an engine for sale even?!

its the manual 5 speed , ideas and options please?!
Ex-Police or a Auto to Manual conversion Omega ?

Why not sort out the problem?  Forgive me for saying but why buy a V6 3.2 engined car if your after MPG? :)
ok here we go, got the car really cheap, petrol wsnt that expensive at the time, engines are fairly cheap to replace at the moment

hey guys, just signed up as ill be doing a bit of work on my wagon, so i mite need help at some stage!
 im irish, drive a 3.2 eatate, its commercialised which is pretty cool(cheap tax!!)
i'll throw up some pics later if youwant, its othin special, ex squad car so its under stated butr pretty quick!
