Omega General Help / Re: Petrol flap security - petrol theft

The fuel filler cap should lock with the central locking.

Hi,

The flap locks with the car, but I think someone is managing to open this to access the fuel cap.

Omega General Help / Petrol flap security - petrol theft
« on: 28 November 2013, 13:50:32 »
Hi Guys,

I have an Omega Estate GLS 02. Someone has tried to steal fuel from the car. On first occasion 2 weeks ago flap was open & cap on the ground, not sure if fuel was taken or not. After that I always checked flap was secured & parked car elsewhere. This morning flap was open again, I know it was secured. So methinks it can be accessed with screwdriver, is that possible as there were no scratch marks? Tank was on red anyway. Would this model have anti-syphoning? If not can I get a locking cap to fit?
Would appreciate advice, thanks

... and change the lamps.

 ......

I've a feeling that she means 'pixels'  :-\  :-\  :-\

If pixels are the little dots that make up the numbers in the clock section, then yes.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Car clock

Hope someone can advise. I have 2.2 Omega estate GLS '02  The clock has some of the lights missing. At last years service I had all the dash lights replaced as they were gradually going one by one but on the clock parts of the numbers are missing, still readable but the garage said that the clock unit needs replacing. Is that correct or can it be fixed easily?  :D

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Drivers window won't close
« on: 01 June 2013, 21:13:24 »
Hope someone can advise..... About 3 weeks ago noticed drivers window was playing up, would not close on button but ok on fob. This may be unrelated but following this the car was not used for approx 2 weeks, battery went flat (had it for a long time), jump started ok yesterday, gave it good run but drained within an hour so got new battery fixed today. Drivers window will not close on button or fob. Drivers buttons allow the other windows to open & close. The other windows also operate on their own buttons. Any ideas?
