Hi all ,
we went for a drive i thought the oil need a top up ,but after the top up {Di-k head}ME did not put the cap back on , drove 40 mile and we seen smoke ,thought it was the car in front :-? it was the migg
. next day got a new cap on the eingin ,2 nite we went up a big hill in 3rd and the land behind us was gone , SOMKE , ALOT OFF SMOKE . I put to much oil in 
how long till it burns off ?? or would i be better doing an oil ghange

will i put it on 1.5v or what way as i have never used one of these??
Shouldn't put it on 1.5v
Set it to read volts - u should see 12.5 -12.8ish volts with engine off & i think around 13.5 - 13.8 volts @ 3k rpm.

Shouldn't put it on 1.5v
Set it to read volts - u should see 12.5 -12.8ish volts with engine off & i think around 13.5 - 13.8 volts @ 3k rpm.

Hi all
took the migg for a good run it had been sitting for 2 months ,when i tryied to clear the windows the abs and battery light came on so when i got home i checked the battery it was very hot and at the back of it there was water coming out of a hole witch it looks like its ment to be there ...any ??thoughts would be great

however ....
this is a V6 engine .. so 1 & 4 are on different banks .. so a head gasket is highly unlikely ..
Due to the "wasted spark" system .. 1 & 4 both get a spark at the same time every cycle, only one uses it each time (compression) the other ignores it (exhaust) .. this seems to point very strongly at an HT problem ..
As the DIS has been changed and I assume correctly and serviceable, it could be a lead/plug breaking down and causing loss of spark on both simultaneously.
,i dont no what the HT is and what part of the exhaust do i check??
