My fellow comrades of the Omega Forum
Thank you so much for your technical reply as to the problem. (The Boy- thank you).
Yes both ABS and TC lights are on. The Vehicle is registered and taxed and resident in the U.K. as I am back in the U.K., so France no longer a locality.
Can anyone suggest where I can get the ABS ECU repaired?
Kindest regards
Squire 1.

Help
Can anyone recommend where to purchase other than eBay . Front near side ABS cable/sensor controls speedo amongst other more worthy parameters I am led to believe, but Speedo and ABS light continuously on is a bit disconcerting.

Kind regards Squire1

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: New key + remote
« on: 04 September 2019, 19:00:16 »
Hi
I have read with interest the problem with only having one key to my Omega V6 Estate 2001 model, with alarm.
I have made a temporary repair to the 2 button key fob and as a substitute to soldering ( I have shaky hands) , I used super glue to attach the broken battery contacts to the mother board. It works but intermittent button operation due to possibly inferior battery contacts.
Thanks for the advice on locking the car manually , via the rear door as opposed to using the key fob.
Any suggestions to an Omega Owners forum member that I can possibly reward with business to either match the original key and fob or 2 new keys and fob for the Vehicle.
I live in Croydon area London.
Kindest regards
Squire 1.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Ignition Key Fob problems

Dear Zirk and Entwood

My appreciation for your prompt response to my key problem.
Key in Drivers door simply will not turn, somewhat reluctant to force in case I might damage internals including my motivation to solve the issue.

Maybe I should default to trying to fix Ignition Fob remote locking, if I can get this to work somehow, all problems are resolved and can live with key not working in drivers door lock, nor key fob not opening rear tailgate .

On Tailgate you can hear the servo working, but remains locked irrespective if remaining locks on car are open or closed.

Nevertheless my appreciation for your assistance. The car is probably the nicest all round vehicle I have ever owned.

Regards Squire1

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Ignition Key Fob problems
« on: 25 February 2014, 21:33:15 »
Hello everyone , Im new to forum and first Post.
Purchased 2001 Omega Estate manual Sept 2013, beautiful car.
Only one key, everything initially working fine.

1. Ignition key sunsequently not working with car locked.

2. Ignition key will not open drivers door, and reluctant to force the key as I will either break the key or damage the lock.

3. Replaced key fob 2032 battery, resynch in ignition and all working OK for short time.

4. With non working key fob and car locked, am using the following procedure.

5. Open Tailgate with key, climb in and release down lock button on rear passenger door.

6. Close Tailgate and remove key.

7. Open rear passenger door, to release Drivers lock down button.

8. Car alarm is activated with Drivers down lock button moved to up- open position.

9. Quickly start car to silence alarm.

Any suggestions on how to resove these issues would be greatly appreciated.

The remote locking is a luxury, I can quite easily go without but need the Key to work in the Drivers door to both lock and unlock the car abd at present this does not work, key simply will not turn anything.

Kindest regards Squire 1
