Alot of effort for little gain :-\

What you actually need is a V6, some partworn shit chinese tyres and a very heavy right foot :y

all i need is a angle grinder :P...one the buddies will make me up the cage :)...il get her to go...dont worry ;)

i was looking for a mv6 for ages and no joy :(

Pretty much break all. 5kg? Seem to remember mine being light, even with some fuel in it when tunnie and I took it off.

im hoping to turn it into a pick up....full cage and no roof from the front seats back....no floor and weld in checkered plating....no back doors,no boot....need to get her as light as possible to have any chance of having some fun with it..:O...

If its a daily runner, or is used to travel to/from drifting events, I'm not sure I'd take it much beyond BMW spec of 150ish bhp. Did I mention its a fragile engine? And it tends not to break slightly, it breaks properly ;D

no she is going to be trailered to and from drifting and track days..:)....random question but does anyone know how much an omega diesal tank would weigh?...il be taking it off and getting a smaller tank im just wondering how much would it weigh :)

I think the chips that Terry the chipman does are all iro 150ish.  A bit of turbo tweaking (but not too much!) and bloody good servicing and having a permenent fan on the intercooler, you should be in that area.

Bin that bloody viscous though, useless PoS.

sounds good :)...it will be after christmas when i start spending money on it i need to get a diesal daily first :P....il post plenty pics of the build :)

I think the engine is too fragile for that level of power. But as a track car, its not that important if it breaks, as it'll be towed home anyway.

id be happy out with around 160brake..would she be able for that do you think?.she is gettin stripped and lightned alot so hopefully she will kick out:)O....if i got a few track days id be happy out :)

When we use to race the BM 325 TDSE you could remap them comfortable to 185 BHP, and at a push by upgrading the Turbo, Boost pressure and Exhaust get the up to to just under 200 BHP but they wouldn't last very long.

id be happy out with 185bhp for the moment she is going drifting so that power would do till I can find a cheap mv6.....:P

I will also be putting a straight through exhaust and front mount as well :)
