Omega General Help / Re: Omega power steering pump

Yeah but aparently there is 2 different pas pumps for my year and model  :-\

I'm not sure I'd buy a pump from Vauxhall. Not enough vaseline in the world ;D

Even if you had enough Vaseline, can you still buy a new pump fro a 2.5/3.0?  :-\ I thought you had to buy a 2.6/3.2 pump & the associated new pipe work  :-\

I'm not buying a new one its just for one of ebay because if you return it they charge a 'restocking fee' >:( They say the part number would be needed? ???

Just put up a wanted ad ........ there's only a choice of two - early 2.5/3.0 pump or the later 2.6/3.2 pump

I'm sure that one of the Omega breakers here will be able to help  :y

Yeah will do :y

Hi all :y

The power steering pump is away on my 2.5 v6 omega and was wondering is there anyway you can get the part number off it without removing the actual pump as I can't leave it in the garage to long as my brother works on different cars daily in it.

Thanks ;D

I'll try not to wreak her to quick  ;D

If I could afford to insure it I think I'd m.o.t her but ahwell.

Had her up at a mates yard today diffing (its like drifting in circles very popular over here in northern ireland).  Blew 4 tyres of it and showed up my mate in his e30 325i sport  ;) :P :y

Here's another wee snap I just took today sitting beside my leon :) https://www.dropbox.com/lightbox/home?select=IMG-20131107-00456.jpg

Thanks for all your compliments ;D

Hey! :)

Always liked my vauxhalls and was looking a RWD so picked up this wee baby for drifting :y :y

It is a 2.5 v6 petrol (defo enough power for me as I'm only 18 and never drifted in my life!!) and it is also an auto as I cannot drive manuals after a motorbike crash 2 years ago :-[

Really dislike the alloys on it but as its for drifting they can stay on lol.

Opnions? :)
