Hi all

Picked up the new omega today.  2002 2.2 CD Auto

Nice and tidy but needs a couple of issues sorting

Firstly 

EML was on - went to a friend who checked it and came up with Camshaft Sensor code.  Drove away and used all day and now EML light has gone off.  Does this mean the problem is gone ?

Secondly

On startup sounds tappety for a few minutes - any ideas

Lastly

Central locking not working on passenger door - again any pointers

Bits of paintwork to tidy up but after doing 30 miles today got to say I am pleased to be back in an omega

Picked up and codes read - camshaft sensor.  No shocks there to be fair as replaced one on every Omega I have owned lol

No - they have to be cleared

From what I can see - the owner (70 yr old lady) has always taken it to Vauxhall for work but refuses to pay £95 to get the light cleared

The car runs fine

Have been registered on here for a few years but had a few different cars since but am pleased to say am back to Omega Ownership - number 4

Just bought a 2002 2.2 CD with 68000 on the clock for a silly low price. 

Looking forward to picking it up at the weekend now

Hi all

Am back to being an omega owner again after a long break.  Just bought a 2002 2.2 CD with 68000 on the clock for a very low price

One thing - eml light is on and has been since the Head Gasket was changed according to owner.  Havent driven it yet but I would have thought its a simple case of resetting it

If so - anyone local to SLady bitshorpe with the right kit
