i know from what you have said about the steering but the omega is full of nylon bushes you cant see, if worn this could be a poss cause, the idler arm on nearside chassis leg went on mine causing it to jump about, or poss the mounting bushes on the top of the front struts, poss the camber angle of the front wheels may be wrong,Jack the car up so you can get under it, but keep the wheels in contact with the ground, or use ramps get someone to rock the steering, and just check for any undue movement, on the track rod ends, idler arms, anti role bar drop links, wishbone bushes etc etc, mainly just to rule them out of the problems, hope you get it sorted  :y

Omega General Help / 2.2 dti pipework
« on: 04 February 2014, 12:03:09 »
:o  After a spot of engine cleaning, on my 2.2 dti, I've found a small bore black pipe, with a rubber elbow on it with a bolt stuck in it. I've traced it to behind the glovebox area, from there it goes along the bulkhead, down the offside off the engine bay, to where the wabasto heater is, after searching for pest part off an hour, can't find where it would go. Any help on this matter would be great, or if anyone with a dti could trace this pipe and let me know where it should fit many thanks girls nd boys :-)

« on: 08 January 2014, 00:12:53 »
I recently rebuilt my 2002 omega after someone side swipped it, the radio codes up turns on but no sound at all!! As the doors came from an earlier 2000 facelift model could the speakers have caused this problem, any thoughts on this matter would be a great help many thanks
