unpluged the MAF ran the car up to temp never even attempted to cut out, switched it off put the plug back in started the car and almost straight away it tried to cut out, revs dropping below 400rpm then back up to 600rpm.
so should i replace the MAF sensor or could it be somthing else.

can anybody help
i have a problem with my wreg 2litre 16 valve omega,when i start it from cold i can smell petrol,then when warmed up it keeps cutting out when i come to a stop.
i have cleaned the throtle body but still the same, did a paperclip test and code 0100 came up, could it be the MAF sensor is at fault

replaced the cam sensor today (vauxhall one £60) started the car allowed it to reach temp, what a difference all better now.
the idle valve which i got from carspares lasted about 8 miles, so replaced it with the old one.

fitted the idle valve drove to work everything fine, come home everytime i stopped it cut out, did the paper clip test again and now code 0340 and 0100 comes up mass air sensor voltage high what does that mean, i would be greatful of any advice, i will be changing the came sensor this weekend

hi all i was wondering if anybody can help, i did the paper clip test to my w reg 2litre 16v omega and the code 0340 came up.
the tickover is very low and it keeps trying to cut out when the engine is warm

had my house broken into and they stole my car keys, each night i have to remove the three 80 amp fuses so they cant take my car.
does anybody know where i can get a lock set for my W reg 2 litre omega (facelift) and how to fit it

i intend to replace the power sounder on my wreg omega.
vauxhall say £53.50  for a replacement unit and a total bill of £180 fitted.
my question is can i just unplug the old one and plug the new one in or is there some sort of procedure.
i have been told that you dont need a tech 2

any help would be very appreciated

that is fine, the tone is as always, but the power sounder is being activated when i turn the engine off every 4th time, and the power problem seems to be linked,
i.e. prior to the power sounder being activated the power is there

air filter changed last week, pipes changed on idle motor, also cleaned with carb clean.
any other ideas, cos i am at a loss
