Another update. just started it a few times and all seemed ok went for a 10 min drive all ok. Got home switched off and started again no throttle control again.  ???

Checked all pipes and checked again and checked for splits, all seem ok, that was what I was thinking. but could it be because it was so blocked before no air was getting through system and now it is it does not like it. Seems to get a bit better each time I start the car. It was running ok before the clean just had a lumpy throttle.

Cheers Butts.

Hi all. Just started her again and I had full throttle control but idle was all over the place, ran her with keeping revs ups until up to temp and then idle sat at 6-7000 revs. switched her off and started again No throttle again but idled smoothly at 12000. started another couple times and got throttle control back. switched off and started again no throttle. it seems every 3-4 starts I get throttle control, but other times I don't. But this is a lot better than yesterday, it's like she is getting used to breathing again. any thoughts on this problem will be much appreciated.

Cheers Butts.

Hi thanks for replies, yes plug is on correct way round grey clip at top. sorry don't have code reader have one on order but won't be here until next week and I've got to go to Wigan on a training course from Sunday so I might have go by train if I don't get this fixed.
Car had been running ok until I cleaned out breathe system.

Update. left car for 3 hours, started with foot planted on accelerator, fired straight up with throttle working but engine running like a three legged donkey, idle all over the show ran like this for a couple of mins, tried cutting out a few times then did. started straight up again same problem, cut out again. restarted again and engine running smoothly but lost throttle. so I either have a smooth engine with no throttle or a bag of bones with throttle. ???

Cheers Butts.

The connector made a good click when I reconnected and I can't push it on any further. do you think its worth gambling £25 for a second hand one from flebay its from a Vauxhall shop. cheers.

All back together still no throttle  :(. on the bright side no longer lumpy on idle and revs are constant 1200.
