Omega General Help / Re: MV6 -96 high idle when warm

It was the tiny hole in t-piece (strange). I made a temporary fix from rubber hose and hose "clip", seems to work now. Idles perfectly at 600rpm. Thanks for help everyone!

Some progress! Found a tiny hole in this T-piece. Patched it up with tape ( ;D), then ran the engine hot. Idle was definetly lower (800-900rpm) for about 5 mins, then back high :-[. Does the ecu need to be reset or something? Where can i buy this T-piece, part number or link?

edit: Pic not working. Anyway the t-piece is the one closest to the hole where the oil is added.

I cleaned it with crc oil, and compressor air. Although didn't look so bad in the first place. I could search air leaks with start pilot or something similar.

Omega General Help / MV6 -96 high idle when warm

My omega is idling high when reached normal temp (about 1500rpm). I have cleaned ICV, chanced MAF, looked for airleaks. When disconnecting the ICV and plugging it back, idle lowers to normal for a 5 seconds, then back to 1500-2000. What to do? Could it be temperature sensor or what?
