Its not uncommon for a fault to upset the engine management into erroneously storing other faults.
Have you changed the cam sensor? If not, I'd suggest doing that next, and use a genuine GM part as well.
No haven't changed it yet, will do now though.
Nice one TB, your a star!

So what makes you think its not the more common cam sensor then?
With taking it out and cleaning seeming to do the job temp thought that was it.
That would also knock the o2 and cranks sensor off then?

Replaced it twice with new ones from factors.
And lost count on how many times i have removed and cleaned it now.
Brings up o2 sensor and cam sensor fault codes as well as the crank sensor. :-?

Omega General Help / Crank Sensor Q
« on: 21 July 2008, 08:58:34 »
Hi guys, have put a few posts up previously about my Crank Sensor problems.
Changed it 2 - 3 times now, even still about every 200 miles the eml comes on and limp mode.
Each time i take it i out and find its covered in oil, clean it up and refit and then all is fine untill another 200 ish miles.
Should there be oil down in the hole where it fits?
If not any suggestions?
Cheers in advance guys.

Omega General Help / Wheel bearing question
« on: 30 June 2008, 09:37:12 »
Hi folks, when doing right hand cornering i sometimes get a whinning noise from the N/S/F wheel. Thinking it could be the bearing i jacked it up and gave the wheel a jiggle about. There is a bit of play / looseness but only in the horizontal plane (9-3) and absoluteley no give at all in the vertical (12-6).
Would play be in both planes if the wheel bearing was on its way out?
Cheers in advance.

Just nipped out to look at mine and it does appear to be slightly higher at the front, so i presume this is normal.
