we have people here who can disable those codes on any head unit for about 10-15 LVL ( about 15 pounds ;) cant find that currency sign on my keybord) I know that it is not very legal though :)
Don't see why it is a problem? As long as you have not stolen the headunit! The property belongs to you and is actually there should the unit be stolen from your car.

Agree, but as quite a few people has steeling as their main business, there goes mainly stolen units. I had stolen from my cars about 5 head units :(

Omega General Help / Re: From V-power to Shell 95 ron

There is definitely a difference between the fuels, both petrol and diesel. When I was working as a courier I used a lot of fuel, mainly diesel, if I filled up at the local Safeway supermarket I got 80 miles less per tankfull than if I filled up at an Esso or Shell. With unleaded I get about 45 / 50 miles less per tank when using normal unleaded than using super unleaded, the difference in cost outweighs the lower miles so I reckon there is no real difference in cost.
I wonder if anyone agrees that the fuel you buy in France or Spain is better than what we get in the UK, I think it is, it even smells different, any views ?

Well, it always seems that fuel is better in other countrys than in your`s ::) My experiance have proved it many times lol

As well as the fan working, ensure the sensor is not touching anything (have to dismantle to check).

Is it a facelift, or prefacelift?

It's a pre-facelift  :)
prefacelift mv6 (being either a 98 or 99 year) does not benefit from a climate upgrade

Dont want to start a new topic so ill ask here:
1) Does 2002 Omega 2,5 DTI will benefit from c/c upgrade?
2) Same about engine and gear box ECU (it has 5 speed auto gear box)

If you register at www.vauxhall.co.uk you can download the manual in English  :y

The ECO mode, turns off the compressor, so it runs on fans only
The 3 arrows is for recirculation, and recircluation with air quality control, ie lets air in when it becomes stale.
You can improve performance, and 'niceness' of the climate control, by having the climate ECU upgraded, 2 minutes plugged into a tech2 diag computer

It is very well explained, thanks very much man :y

Cant really understand things about point 3) though ::) Is that Tech2 thingy?

Well it helps, especially about that users manual from Vauxhall :y

Hello guys.

I got users manual for my Omega but in German and i know only 4-5 words in German  :(

1) What does button with a letters ECO on it does?
2) Button with a letter A is confusing me too....ok i know that it turns off external air flow (or whatever), but what a letter A does in circle of 3 arrows pointing clockwise when i press it again?
3) Can i turn off internal clima ventilator without getting flooded by a cold air at -5 Celsius? ::) ( only way (what i have found so far) i can turn it off is by turning off c/c what leads to some health problems for a driver  ;D)

Thanks

About the pollen filter - would you put a photo where abouts it is, please? My crappy english and stupid dictionary wont make any sense out of "in under the passenger side scuttle"  :-[

Why don`t you have any of these in the UK? :(  I like my car more and more with every day lol and i hardly can imagine my life without it anymore ::)

hello and welcome!

If that car will serve good to you after all repairs and you will gonna like it then keep it IMO, cos you get changed quite a bit of parts in the car already and you never know what you will buy next time....may be even worse.
