Not convinced you'll see much performance benefit from modded intakes....
but also potential engine damage if the flywheel is design to dampen harmonics from the crankshaft! I don't know enough about the Omega setup to comment with any authority though...
QuoteThat's a very good point! No idea, sorry. Hopefully someone else will know...
I wondered at the time what drawbacks there could be when I did it and that never crossed my mind.
Is it a new pump job or can it be salvaged?
QuoteSo what would you suggest?I doubt it will be an ECU issue. As said, more likely fuse (as it sounds like motor stalling) or fuel pump relay. Assuming, of course, that the mice haven't been at the car whilst parked up.
Which spool should I run it off and how does one check for blockages as it's a sealed unit?
Incidentally the fuse if fine so can only assume it's a prob a ECU.
Blockage wise, thinking along lines of jellified petrol in the pipes or pick up, though not sure if you can disconnect pipes near pump, as never looked...
I think my next MOD might be an E-RAM.
Looks quite good- there is a "super" version, this would be cool, as there could be 1 for each ram pipe.
Would make a very intereasting experiment.
I'll order one in the next week or so, and post up the results.
Cheers.
