Wonder if I'll be on here in the next couple of days looking for a replacement mirror glass ::)

Omega General Help / Changing/Repairing Omega Door Mirror
« on: 04 March 2009, 12:59:59 »
The nearside door mirror on my 52 plate omega (2.6 elite) has been snapped off (on the spindle where the mirror pivots on the base) and I wondered if anyone can tell me whether I could get into the unit to try a repair, or if they are sealed and I just need toget a whole new unit?

Thanks

Anyone have any ideas on a price for a custom exhaust?

Would I need a complete system or could I get away with just having a new silencer and tailpipe section?

Thanks

Omega General Help / Re: Boot Switch Question

Thank you to everyone that suggested (in a polite way) that I should try being a little less impatient.

After holding the button in for about 5 seconds, the boot pops open  ;D

Thanks again,

Paul.

The key is out and the doors are unlocked. I've held the button in for what I consider to be a long time, but I'll try holding it in for even longer. I'll also check the key fob and button light option tomorrow.

Thanks,

Paul.

Omega General Help / Boot Switch Question
« on: 30 December 2007, 10:17:55 »
The dashboard switch for remote opening of my boot does not work. Can anyone give me any pointers as to where I should start looking for the fault, please.

If it helps, the light on the switch does not come on when it is pressed - Faulty switch or something else?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hello mikedundee - Yes, I did see it on ebay, but it was only 10 minutes from where I live. So we did it privately. Did you see it?

Hello

After blowing up the engine on my W plate 2.5 Elite, I had a bit of a senile moment involving a diesel mondeo  :-X

But I've now seen the light and come to my senses with a 52 plate 2.6 Irmscher Elite - And now I'm gonna have loads of juvenile moments with it :D

Paul.
