Thanks for your reply, I have the code number so will have a go at putting it in, I have not disconnected the battery lately, but have noticed that there has benn an internitent fault with the player, so maybe worth taking the radio out and checking first.

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, so am not sure I am asking this question in the right forum or the answer is somewhere on site already, so would be grateful for assistance.
Can anyone help me with information about the Warning Codes that appear on my onboard computer?
I have '7 Code' appearing when I switch on the ignition, the handbook says I should contact my main Vauxhall Dealer to rectify, but the car is running fine, except that the radio/cd will not play with the Code displayed.
The car is a 2,5 manual CD 1996, if that helps.
