Found the problem
Passenger side front plug well filling with water. No sign off water making it's way there so looked at plug well itself and i have a slight weep into the plug well
looks like the plug well has gone porous.
Any ideas as to a cure ? was thinking maybe trying some of that "liquid metal" or possibly a thin stainless steel sleeve

so i tend to think it's more likely to be Dis pack coupled with the fact it only starts to miss when it warms up possibly a HT lead fault but unlikely to have 2 leads fail at same time.
Checked the fuses and found that fuse no 15 had blown, replaced the fuse and all gauges etc are working again.
On the legend on the fusebox panel fuses 2, 12, 14, 15, 26 all have KL and the ampage and what the relevant fuse is for, but what does 'KL' refer to ?
