Omega General Help / Emissions Light

Hi
having changed the HBV successfully the emissions light now stays on. does anyone have any suggestions? I need to read the codes so any recommendations as to which reader to buy would be very helpful I gather I cannot do it with the paper clip method on my version (2.2 CDX petrol, year 2000).

Many thanks, got it back together now and the leak seems to have stopped.
They don`t seem to do or know about the facelift 2.2 here in France (The Opel dealer in Saumur didn`t any way)

Omega General Help / Heater Bypass valve

Can anyone help, please. I am fitting a new HBV but when I put the pipes on, the single entry pipe appears to be kinked. does anybody know which pipe goes where on the two outlets from the valve. I have the one to the heaterpipe on the bulkhead on the top one.

Having trouble with HBV and have been trying to get at it from underneath the car (well I`m old and not as bright as I used to be) so I found this site, great I`ll try from the top tomorrow. Thanks for the info. I`ll definitely be checking here before I start anymore jobs.
