hello lads & ladys i still have no speedo or trip meter so just wondering @ the moment i have 175 miles on computer showing to 20 litres of fuel is this right or is the car wrong
please advise further

Assuming you got right dash, it points towards the ABS ECU

yes mate i got the correct dash from a breaker that reads irs nottingham same as the clocks that came out of mine apert from the millage
Did it come from same year as yours as well (they changed around mid 97, and again in 2000, and they are not compatible with each other).  If so, I'd say the ABS ECU, but then I'm sure I said that on a earlier thread...

 ( speedo ) i have changed the dash clock's and the a.b.s pump and i have still not got any speedo :'( and i donnot no what to do next can anybody advise me on what to do now i have tried to locate the switches or sensors but i ahve had no luck so many people have told me it's in different places but i have cheked them but still nothing

please i need to no my speed i got a ticket threw the post today and i donnot want anymore >:(

hello ev 1 can anyone tell what the green plug on the top of the gearbox is with it looks like 2 or 3 wires coming out of the gear box and are the mv6 gearbox's r25 - r28

if i hold the throttle down to the floor and then bring it back half way it will start but it is smelling with fuel and sounds like it's only running on 4 cylinders but me being me useless with cars it coul be the way i'm trying to start it its the first vauxhall i have ever had i'm only used to my claasic capri really
