My wife left the lights on after jump starting the climate control won,t come on,i usually leave it on at all times have only checked fuses all ok any other idea's for my next steps.thanks

2001 2.2 Auto Car had the front (near manifold)sensor replaced to pass MOT it failed initially on emmisions but passed when this was replaced! the dashboard emmision light has since come on after approx 40 miles any idea's ,have taken out the one further back just for look is this worth replacing or should i just live with the light as it now has years MOT?Have in the past had the warning light come on and off it doesn't seem to effect the drive.any advice welcome cheers.Jeff

Good morning,i have broken manifold stud on my 2.2 2001,i am going to attempt job myself,had look other day and stud seems to be corroded inside hole,any hints,apart from new studs,gasket for manifold and back pipe anything else i should order,also what are make up torques for studs and is coating of copper coating etc advisable before fitting new studs.Also what is the probable cause of studs breaking. Thanks

Remote on key fob works fine,makes no difference if i have key in or out ignition

Have 40k 51 plate 2.2,one manifold stud snapped,can see they can be bit of nightmare to replace,how much would i expect to pay from independant garage to fix and any other jobs i should get done at same time?,also internal boot release switch not working,fuse is ok is problem likely to be with switch or mechanism,have not the ability,time or space to do much to the car myself!  thanks Dont do lot of miles in car would leaving stud alone and running with emmision light on cause any major problems,short or long term
