i'd only use rad weld as a temp mesure tbh.....

where bouts are you and what engine have you got?

It is certainly only a temporary measure, I can't afford a whole new radiator or the time off work at the moment to get it looked at. Its a 2.5 V6 engine.

Omega General Help / Radiator...
« on: 21 September 2006, 20:29:26 »
I think I have developed a leak in my radiator, and was hoping that I could solve it using Radweld, as I have done on other cars I've had before.

However, is there no filler cap directly into the radiator? I took the front panel off and there doesn't seem to be a cap to open up?

How would I go about putting radweld in, or would that be a no-no...?

Hi all, I'm Alex

Got an Omega for day-to-day, and of course it has a few problems! Its a 2.5 V6 CD with a manual box, which i am to believe is quite rare on Omegas?

Also drive a Movano 2.5 when at work, we have a fleet of 5, all converted to minibuses.

hope this site is helpful, I know very little under the bonnet of the car!
