Had the plumber coming to service my boiler earlier, but he didn't turn up.  ::)

When I phoned him he said he couldn't come as he was doing another job and wouldn't be able to come round before Christmas.  >:(

I'm not having much luck with tradies at the mo.   :-\
If your boiler is working, why bother with a service? They only clean things up, it can still pack up the minute he's out the door

Well if something did happen it's a handy get out for the insurance company if it hasn't been serviced within the last 12 months, and I'm a bit paranoid about gas, so like to check it's gas tight every year.  :)

Or stop finding Ukraine.

I know that's a controversial perspective, but...

Damn those clever satnavs!  ;D

All Trumpy has ever asked is that NATO countries pull their weight and maintain decent sized and equipped militaries so they can make a proportionate contribution.  If he did pull America from NATO, we'd only have ourselves to blame as we've taken the piss for decades.  ::)

People need to make up their minds - do you want an EU army/navy/airforce or not?

Well we are not a member of the EU so it's irrelevant to us and they can do what they like, but if we were still members I'd say no as defence cooperation should be concentrated through NATO.

Why spend billions of taxpayers cash building an EU NATO type organisation?  ???

Thought about but just not hungry at the moment. :-\

A warm bed filled with a warm 22 year old Scandi girl will see you right, Skruntie. :y

PS....Where are the Christmas tits you are so famous for? >:D

Well I have a 32 year old waiting for me 90 mins away that's disappointed I wont go and meet her or a 39 year old future wife that cant get home due to work commitments.

She should be coming round yours to take care of all your needs at a time like this;)    >:D

She has tried, several times. ::)

I guess with a sore throat you're not really in the mood for any toe sucking action Skruntie?   ???  :-\   :-*

I read earlier that Britain only has 14 large artillery guns, 40 odd operational tanks and no air defences, so if it does become a wider conflict we're fooked because if Putin does start lobbing missiles about, London or somewhere like RAF Coningsby/HMNB Portsmouth will be a prime targets!  :o

Meanwhile our ragtag bunch of student activists who currently run this country, lie about the state of the nations finances so they can 'ask people to pay a little bit more' so they can dish out more money in benefits to placate their restive leftie back benchers.  ::)

And ShitFit will know how to get extra out of said corporate.  For example, claiming this tyre was unrepairable, so have to fit a new one.  They probably make a few more quid on the tyre than they do on a puncture repair.

Funny you should say that, when I eveballed it, it certainly looked repairable, but apparently it was not  ;D.

I wonder if they're more cautious about repairing EV tyres due to the weight of the car?  :-\

Green machines!  ;D

Old school player, not like the overacting pansies we see nowadays.

....and overpaid.

£300,000 a week for  kicking a ball around on a piece of muddy grass seems excessive. ::)

Ah well. :-\
The grass isn't even muddy nowadays  ;)
It's not even grass :D

They say the grass is greener on the other side.  We'll all find out if that's true in due course.  :)

As Jimmy points out, it's very unlikely that his lease company pays the same rates at Kwik Fit as poor old put upon Joe Public.  ::)

The fencers who came yesterday morning and took down my side gate and 6ft panel down the side of my house which was knackered. Then the delivery of the new stuff was late so he said he'd go and have look at another job and come back and finish after lunch.

The new stuff came, and then the fencer phoned and said he'd now be coming back in the morning at 7.30am. It was absolutely lashing down at 7.30am and he didn't come which wasn't surprising, but haven't seen him yet and he's not answering my calls FFS.  >:(

British builders, backbone of the country. >:D

How to become a builder?

F*uck about at school and leave with no qualifications. Then buy a knackered flatbed and you suddenly become an expert in roofing, guttering, tree cutting, drains, fencing, driveway cleaning and laying. :)
I think you're confusing builders with happygolikeys :-\

Presumably if they want paying, they'll turn up.

He'll be back as he's left some tools and things in my garage.  ::)

I'd have done it myself, but I wanted it done in a day as I didn't want the side of my house left open for all and sundry to look into or wander in.  Sigh...  :(
