Ran over something on the Dual Carriageway at 5am.
3 miles later pressure warning, parked at destination to hear hisssssss.
So wheel swap, glad I've a spare.

Fronts just under half worn
Rears have a Couple of months before replacement due.

Wheels are tatty, laquer peel etc so may well be the time for a refurb and 4 new boots.
I wouldn't be without one, those pointless bottles of glue just don't work. Another stupid EU decree. Theoretically, you will use 2 gallons of fuel less, over the lifetime of your car, if you don't have to carry a spare around.

Mine doesn't have a spare, and nowhere to put one either.  :-\
Roof? Bonnet?

;D

Hmmm.....  :-\

Being battered around the head ( or knocked out cold as was the case with Ricky) probably doesn't help with both physical and mental health

There was an ex-rugby player in the last week or so who has been diagnosed with something nasty. I can't quite remember his name. :-X

Lewis Moody.....I needed the assistance of Mr google. ::) ;D

Motor Neurone Disease.  A horrible way to go, poor fella. :(

Some put it down to the 'rough and tumble' of the game with plenty of heads banging together. :-\ :-\

There's been a couple of others go of MND recently. Doddie Wier the Scotland player and a Rugby League player... Forget his name now. :-[

Rob Burrow.

Had a wet carpet behind the drivers seat after the heavy rain last week, so today pulled the door card off of the rear door, to find a mess of silicone and duct tape where someone has attempted to seal the vapour barrier.  ::)

Renewed the duct tape and put it back together for the time being, and will order the proper sealant to do the job properly soonish.  :y

All jokes aside,.go ANYWHERE in the US and after 9pm even your Nan would get asked for ID.

I've never been asked for ID in the US.  Even buying booze in Walmart liquor store.  It must be you!
Ok pretty much any bar... Walmart and other supermarkets take a slightly more supermarket approach.

The only time I haven't been asked was in Nashville on NYE... And I suspect that was more to do with wearing a T Shirt that said "Nothing some sleep and a good fxxk wouldn't cure" as even the skipper got asked.

Some establishmenta are more strict than others, Tequila Jacks in Long Beach will ask at lunch time.

I got ID checked in a Walmart in Houston about 10 years ago when buying beers.  :)

I was quite flattered to be honest.  :y   ;D

I expect that's more about their litigation culture than anything else.

If the Britcard is to be an App on smartphones, whats to stop everyone simply telling the Govt. that they dont own one ?
I would imagine the only way they could disprove that is to have access to icloud and whatever the Android equivalent is ?  :-\

They will expand its use until it becomes impossible to function in society without your digital ID StarmerCard, and everyone will end up having one. Well that's the plan anyway.  >:(

He let slip during a speech in India a couple of days ago that the StarmerCard will make it easier to access your money and make purchases.   ::)

Bastard.  :-X

it's weird isnt it .we struggle to find a good paint for items like this that will last and not flake off etc BUT get any overspray from painting where you don't want it and it takes everything you have and ages to get off !! its as if the paint is saying "il show you haha"

Yes try getting masonry paint off of a plastic downpipe.  ::)   :(

My phone told me it wanted to do a software update this morning, but I told it to do it later.

I see if that app has been added as part of the update when I get round to doing it.  :-\

The company the government hinted they would use - Palantir - have come out and said they aren't interested in bidding for it, as it wasn't in the manifesto, thus is undemocratic.

This just shows what a bunch of useless far left student activist amateurs we have running the country.  ::)

Not the first time something like this has happened either.

A few months ago Starmer went to Albania for a European heads of government meeting of some kind and announced on camera with the Albanian PM stood by his side that he was going to do a Rwanda style deal with the Albanians, to send illegals there for processing.

I don't think so!  The Albanian PM replied immediately!  ;D

Mm, I think the pm wants her back🤣

Apparently John Major would bend Edwina Currie over the cabinet table and give her a good seeing to. Perhaps TTK wants to do the same to the ginger growler. :)

Nah, young Ukrainian boys are his thing.  ::)

Yeah...I'd forgotten about them.

And  Starmer hopes everyone else has.

Not a chance.  :)

Apparently Starmer has 5 Super Injunctions preventing the press from reporting this or that about him.  :-\

Wonder what else he doesn't want us to know?  :-X

Here’s a link to what the digital future could mean for people.   It’s quite long but just a few minutes will give you an idea of how our life will be controlled.   >:(
