Omega General Help / Help Required (non start)
« on: 15 November 2008, 16:07:02 »
Hi all, having had my Omega 3.0 V6 for a year now but never been on the road yet (ongoing project) starts first time everytime the day i NEED to move it, it refuses to start ! [smiley=angry.gif] Problem is no power at fuel pump but fuel pump IS ok (tried direct feed and all is ok, starts straight away) so make me suspect fuel pump relay. Would you agree with my thoughts or am i jumping to the wrong conclusion too quickly ?  [smiley=undecided.gif]

Regards, Jimmy S.

I suspect your interior temp sensor is gone, have you checked the sampling fan behind the console?

Checked this when i changed the display bulbs and working perfectly.

Omega General Help / Another heater help question
« on: 29 March 2008, 08:47:24 »
Hi all, noticed all heat related problems on here are usually a lack of or no heat but my problem is the opposite, i have too much heat !! I have a '99 omega elite with climate and no matter what i set it at all i get is heat. If i set it for max temp it will blow hot but if i set it for minimum temp it still blows hot air ! If i set the climate for say 22deg it will blow hot air fairly quickly after start up and then the fan speed will slow down but the heat coming into the car is still too hot even if i reduce the heat setting. As i'm new to this car, being an ex Carlton Gsi man any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.  :y
