Omega General Help / Alarm active = no horn
« on: 05 May 2008, 21:02:35 »
I tired out the alarm for the car today to just see what it sounded like. So I sat inside it locked and deadbolted it (double tap remote) waited for the red light inside to go out then moved around. It set off the flashing indicators but no horn/alarm

Is it meant to make noises or not?

« on: 30 March 2008, 16:35:28 »
Got a replacement display for the omega however i think its set up incorrectly. Its yellow port with a black port as well and its the same mode number as mine, however on the trip computer it has a few issues;

Time : Correct
Time elapsed/start/stoop : Correct
Avg Speed : Correct
Avg MPG : Incorrect (Poss?) (40mpg out of a 2.0 driven not sedately but not full out as such)
Curr MPG : Incorrect (Between 9mpg, 168 and 999.9mpg!!)
Range : Incorrect  (poss?) (300miles for 25 litres)

Software;
017_______04
_______24846

Car;
2.0 CD Manual with norm alloys (205/65/15 iirc)

Unless taking it easy I can get 50 mpg crusing @ 55mph (i reset it) ?  :o
