No fault codes is a good thing in most cases, unless the bulb is either blown or 'missing'!
Yes, older miggys do give fault codes and are easy enough to read without the 'help' of a garage. :y

Since you have no engine management light on, should just be what James and myself said, needs a good clean up!  :y

(yes, I realise what I've just done and yes sir, I'm an idiot!  ;D)
The engine management light did come on for about 2 secs and went off again the garage said this was just where the revs dipped so low and it has not come on again

Whilst driving today my car lost a bit of power then came back it done this a couple of times then i noticed the revs kept dipping, but once i got to work it was fine, then on the way home it done the same thing. I popped into the garage i go to and he said the throttle block needed to come off and needed cleaning as a flap was not opening or shutting properly and said this is what is making the revs dip.      I want to know if this is right or if anyone has any other ideas i need to get this done as quick as i can as i am going to somerset on holiday this saturday with the family and dont want to let my sons down. PLEASE HELP :-[ :y
