Omega General Help / Low Idle

A vehicle advertised is described as idling low and seller says it doesnt effect use and could be a police setting part of the remapping  :-/ ??

Is there a common fault that could give the car these symptoms and should I stay well clear.

Hi im currently looking to buy an Omega and this site has been highly recommended.
Im searching the small ads looking to replace my Mondeo ST and come back to Vauxhall.
Ive had corsas, astras and vectras and the family car is the Zafira so whilst im not doing the mileage I fancy an Omega.
