cam timing is ok now, had it checked, had a retired mechanic look at it today he seems to think its not the inlet valves as there is no knocking sounds but I guess only way I will find out is if I strip head. Already had the coil pack replaced that pretty much rules most things out
hmmm.... the compression is certainly not 0 on any of the cylinders. lowest I had was 46 on 1 cylinder. Had coil pack replaced but still had mis-firing.
Do you think i'd be wasting my time replacing valves?
Had compression test shows low compression on 2 cylinders. The water pump went whilst driving although the car did not cut off. The timing belt did not come off but may have jumped I guess. Timing belt and water pump tensioners replaced but car shaking afterwards.
